Screwdriver, Hammer, Rag or paper towel
Use lubricant in a well-ventilated area., Keep fingers clear of hinge gaps when moving the door., Use caution when removing and reinserting hinge pins., Clean up spills immediately to prevent slipping.
Open and close the door slowly to identify which hinge is causing the squeak. Inspect all hinge screws to see if any are loose or protruding. Use a screwdriver to tighten any loose hinge screws securely. Shake the door slightly to ensure it is firmly attached and not wobbling. Spray a small amount of lubricant directly onto the hinge pivot points. Open and close the door several times to work the lubricant into the hinge. Wipe off any excess lubricant with a rag or paper towel to prevent drips. If the squeak persists, place a rag under the hinge and gently tap the hinge pin upward with a hammer. Carefully pull out the hinge pin using your fingers or pliers. Apply a thin layer of lubricant along the length of the hinge pin. Reinsert the hinge pin back into the hinge and tap it down gently with a hammer. Open and close the door again to check if the squeak is gone. Repeat the hinge pin removal and lubrication process for other hinges if needed. Ensure all hinge pins are fully seated and aligned properly. Clean up any lubricant that may have dripped onto the floor or door frame. Test the door multiple times to confirm the squeak has been resolved. If squeaking continues, consider replacing worn-out hinges. Dispose of used rags properly as some lubricants are flammable. Store lubricant in a safe place away from heat or open flames. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling lubricant.
Lubricant (WD-40, silicone spray, or petroleum jelly)
            Medium
Use silicone spray instead of oil-based lubricants to avoid attracting dust., Apply lubricant sparingly to avoid drips and mess., Mark hinge pins before removal to ensure correct reinstallation., Check door alignment if squeaking persists after lubrication.
