            Scissors, Glue stick, Pencil, Ruler
Use scissors carefully and supervise children., Avoid ingesting glue or getting it in eyes., Wash hands after using glue or markers.
Fold a piece of colored cardstock in half to form the base of your card. Draw and cut out several identical heart shapes from construction paper. Fold each heart shape in half vertically to create a crease. Glue one half of a folded heart to the half of another folded heart to start forming a 3D shape. Continue gluing folded hearts together until you have a full 3D heart shape. Apply glue to the outer halves of the 3D heart and press it into the center fold of the card. Hold the glued heart in place for a few seconds to ensure it sticks well. Test the pop-up by gently closing and opening the card to ensure smooth movement. Use markers or pens to decorate the front of the card with drawings or messages. Add embellishments like stickers or glitter if desired for extra flair. Write a heartfelt message inside the card around the pop-up heart. Check that all glued parts are secure and dry before handling further. Trim any uneven edges of the card for a clean finish. Use a ruler to help align decorations and text neatly. Avoid using too much glue to prevent wrinkling the paper. Let the card sit open for a few minutes to fully dry the glue. Store the card flat under a book if it curls during drying. Ensure scissors are sharp for clean heart shapes. Supervise children when using scissors or glue. Present your finished card in an envelope or with a ribbon.
