Adjustable wrench, Basin wrench, Screwdriver, Bucket, Towel, Plumber's tape
Always turn off water supply before starting., Use a bucket and towel to catch any water spills., Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks., Do not overtighten fittings to avoid damaging threads.
Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink. Open the kitchen tap to release any remaining water in the lines. Place a bucket and towel under the sink to catch any drips. Use an adjustable wrench to disconnect the water supply lines from the old tap. Use a basin wrench to loosen and remove the mounting nuts securing the old tap. Lift out the old tap from the sink and set it aside. Clean the sink surface where the old tap was installed to remove debris and buildup. Insert the new tap into the mounting holes on the sink. Secure the new tap from underneath using the provided mounting hardware. Wrap plumber's tape around the threads of the tap connectors for a better seal. Attach the flexible tap connectors to the new tap using a wrench. Connect the other ends of the flexible connectors to the shutoff valves. Ensure all connections are hand-tight, then snug with a wrench without over-tightening. Turn on the water supply valves slowly to pressurize the system. Check all connections for leaks and tighten slightly if needed. Turn on the new tap to test water flow and temperature control. Inspect under the sink again for any signs of dripping or leaks. Wipe down the area and remove tools and materials. Dispose of the old tap and any packaging responsibly. Enjoy your newly installed kitchen tap.
