Reconnect the positive terminal first, tightening the clamp securely to prevent loose connections.
Reconnect the negative terminal, ensuring it is tight and secure.
Spray battery terminal protector on the terminals to prevent future corrosion.
Close the hood, start the engine, and verify that the battery is functioning properly.
