            Allen wrench, Pliers, Screwdriver, Flashlight
Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before working on the disposal., Do not put your hands inside the disposal while it is connected to power.
Turn off the power to the garbage disposal at the circuit breaker to ensure safety. Use a flashlight to look inside the disposal for any visible obstructions. Remove any visible obstructions using pliers, ensuring your hands are clear of the blades. Insert an Allen wrench into the bottom of the disposal and turn it back and forth to free any jammed parts. Press the reset button located on the bottom of the disposal unit. Restore power at the circuit breaker and test the disposal by running water and turning it on. Listen for unusual noises that may indicate remaining obstructions or issues. Check under the sink for any leaks while the disposal is running. Tighten any loose connections with a screwdriver to stop leaks. If the disposal still doesn't work, consider replacing it or calling a professional. Ensure the disposal is properly mounted and secure under the sink. Clean the disposal by grinding ice cubes and citrus peels to freshen it.
