DIY4UAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1) How to Submit a Takedown Notice
To be effective under §512(c)(3), your written notification to our designated Copyright Agent must include:
• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works at a single online site, a representative list).
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., specific URL(s) on our Site).
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

2) Counter-Notice Procedure
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our DMCA Agent that includes:
• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) where the material appeared before removal or disabling.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of (i) the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or (ii) if outside the United States, any judicial district in which DIY4UAI may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original Takedown Notice (or their agent).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless we receive notice from the complainant within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material.

3) Policy on Repeat Infringers
Consistent with the DMCA, we may suspend or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account upon a single infringement notice or in our discretion, where appropriate. We accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect their works.

Important Warnings
Submitting false or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) (including costs and attorneys’ fees). This policy is for information only and does not constitute legal advice. Consider consulting an attorney before submitting a Takedown Notice or Counter-Notice.
