Insert the new Delta faucet through the sink mounting hole.
Apply plumber’s putty or silicone sealant around the base if recommended.
From underneath, slide the mounting bracket and nut onto the faucet shank.
Tighten the mounting nut securely using a basin wrench.
Connect the hot and cold supply lines to the corresponding shutoff valves.
Ensure all connections are hand-tight, then snug with a wrench without over-tightening.
Remove the faucet spray head and flush the lines to clear debris.
Reconnect the spray head and check for proper retraction and docking.
Turn on the water supply valves slowly and check for leaks at all connections.
Run both hot and cold water to ensure proper flow and temperature control.
Check under the sink for any drips or leaks while the faucet is running.
Tighten any fittings slightly if leaks are detected, then recheck.
Ensure the faucet handle moves smoothly and the spray function works correctly.
Wipe down the faucet and sink area to remove any excess putty or sealant.
Dispose of the old faucet and packaging materials responsibly.
